What happens when you keep your ISO 9001, 14001, or 45001 separate from your business process?

Updated: Jul 10, 2023

Hello and welcome to Sysberg In my earlier video presentations, I discussed.

Why it is important to set an internal foundation first before integrating ISO standards?

I also shared 5 tips about integrating an ISO-based management system into business processes.

I would suggest you watch those videos in case you haven’t already, preferably prior to watching this presentation. That way it will make more sense.

Here are the links;

In this video presentation, I will explain to you a metaphor about

"What happens when you opt for an ISO system such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001 for your company but are keeping it separate without properly integrating it into your business processes?"

I would like to take you back to the barbell example of one of my earlier presentations about "Why it is important to set an internal foundation first before integrating ISO standards?"

If you have watched that presentation, you probably would be able to recall this image where I discussed the importance of learning how to hold the bar correctly in the first place before adding any further weight to it, then

I also drew an analogy between our body muscle gain and business growth. I wanted to give you a bit of context because this is how it is relevant here.
